Monty Normand for School Board

My Name is Monty Normand, and I am a candidate for Alexandria District 206 School Board. I am motivated to run by my daughter who is a student at Discovery Middle School. I am currently an active member of both the Discovery Middle School Parent Principal Connect and District 206 Superintendent Advisory Councils.

I graduated in 1988 from Jefferson Sr High School and have been a long-time resident of Alexandria. As a member of the Alexandria School Board, I will work to restore the academic excellence that our schools were accustomed to.  Building on the great work already being done in the district.

I will be a common sense voice for parents, teachers, and students alike.  Safety, transparency, and accountability must remain key factors for our schools.  

I ask for your vote on November 5th.
